Inhaltszusammenfassung:

Monitoring ist zeitsparend, weil man Webseiten und Datenbanken nicht immer erneut aufsuchen muss, um Aktualisierungen zur Kenntnis zu nehmen, sondern diese geliefert bekommt. Der Beitrag behandelt die verschiedenen Möglichkeiten, Alerts mithilfe von kostenlosen Tools einzurichten, sodass man eine Vielzahl von Quellen beobachten kann. Weiter werden Möglichkeiten des Zusammenfassens, Filterns und Auswertens behandelt.

Abstract:

Monitoring saves time, because you must not search and visit websites and databases again and again to see, if there are updates. You can get the actualisations delivered automatically. The article discusses the various ways of setting up alerts using free tools, so you can watch a vast variety of sources. Further opportunities for summarizing, filtering and evaluating are discussed.
